Production Readiness

Avoid hardcoding URLs. Use environment variables (e.g., .env.local) to manage your API endpoints across Development, Staging, and Production environments.

Step 1: Create a Developer Account

  1. Sign up at Origin Platform and select "Sign up as Developer"
  2. Verify your email and complete the profile setup

Step 2: Register Your Application

  1. Navigate to the Developer Dashboard
  2. Click "Register New App"
  3. Fill in the required fields:
    • App Name: Your application's display name
    • App ID: Unique identifier (e.g., com.yourcompany.app)
    • Platform: Select Web or Mobile
    • Redirect URIs: OAuth callback URLs
    • Image URL: App icon URL
    • Description: Brief app description
  4. Click Submit

Important

Your application will be in PENDING status until approved by an admin.
